Falls Prevention
Staying Steady

Staying Steady is a fun, easy community falls prevention exercise programme that helps build strength, balance and confidence for older adults over 65 years who may have fallen, or are unsteady on their feet or for people under 65 who have a diagnosis of dementia.
The programme runs for 16 weeks minimum, with one session each week. Sessions are delivered in over 14 community settings across Southend by Postural Stability Instructors. Participants are also expected to complete home exercises twice weekly for the duration of the programme.
