Healthy Eating

It’s never too late to start eating healthier. Despite all the conflicting information you see in the news it is quite straightforward to eat a healthy well-balanced diet.

The key to eating well is to eat a wide variety of foods in the right proportions and consuming the right amount of food and drink to maintain a healthy body weight. A diet based on starchy foods such as bread, pasta, rice and potatoes, plenty of fruit and vegetables, moderate amounts of protein-rich foods such as meat, fish, eggs and lentils, moderate amounts of milk and dairy foods, and not too much fat or sugar will ensure that all your nutritional needs are met.

Eating regularly, having breakfast and keeping hydrated are also key to enjoying a healthy diet.
